Third Sector — October 2008
The Melbourne International Arts Festival is pleased to announce that Amy Williamson has joined their development team as Philanthropy Executive.
Amy is responsible for implementing programs that tie into the Festival to nurture relationships with and generate donations from individual donors, foreign governments and foundations.
Prior to her most recent appointment, Ms Williamson was working at The Myer Foundation/Sidney Myer Fund and during this time chose to explore the field by undertaking studies at the Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies at Queensland University of Technology.
“The Melbourne International Arts Festival has established a strong patrons program and it is truly a pleasure to be working in this position with people who share an intense passion for the Festival,” Ms Williamson said.
