Funding available for initiatives in health research

The MBF Foundation is seeking to fund new health initiatives that provide clear benefit to the Australian community.
Research institutions, universities and other organisations for innovative health project proposals are encouraged to apply. The Foundation looks to fund initiatives from $100,000 to $500,000 for up to three years with potential outcomes of national significance and takes a partnership approach to all investments
The Foundation aims to promote:
Health research (including research into health outcomes, health information, health policy and health financing and ageing
Health education
Development of programs for leading healthy lives for the broader community.

Research initiatives must be in one or more of the following areas:
Keeping healthcare affordable
Wellness and obesity
Healthy ageing.
