During the month of November, The Movember Foundation encourages men to grow their mo to highlight men’s health issues, and specifically to raise awareness and funds for The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue, the national depression initiative.
Winners for 2009 include:
Kurt Fearnley, for raising the most amount of money by an individual for Movember 2009. Fearnly raised $32,528.
Macquarie Group Sydney, for raising the most amount of money by a team of 5 or more: over $250,000 raised.
‘Movember Tour De Cairns’, for raising the most amount of money by a team of up to 4 members for Movember 2009
