Productivity Commissioner to address inaugural AuSAE event
Thu, 11 March 2010
The public are welcome to attend the inaugural 2010 event of the New South Wales chapter of the Australian Society of Association Executives (AuSAE), where Productivity Commissioner Robert Fitzgerald will speak on the recent release of the study into the Contribution of the Not for Profit Sector.
The event, to be held on the 18 March at Doltone House, Pymont, marks the first time Fitzgerald will address a Sydney audience since the Commission released its report on 11 February.
The report makes a number of recommendations aimed at improving regulation, facilitating innovation and sector development and reforming government purchasing and contracting arrangements.
“We are particularly delighted that Robert Fitzgerald will address our first New South Wales gathering,” AuSAE President Simon Pryor said.
“Our members are a key audience for this report. Robert has been very generous in his support of association executives and has previously addressed the AuSAE National Third Sector Leaders Symposium in 2009.”
AuSAE addresses the interests of Australia’s top executives from business, professional, technical, trade, sporting and welfare associations, providing support, networking services and up-to-date industry information to increase the effectiveness and skills of association managers.
